Want to help increase Youth Mental Health Awareness? Want to help teach others how to help individuals who may be experiencing a mental health crisis?
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, schools, teachers, peers, neighbors and other caring citizen how to help youth (ages 12-18). Youth Mental Health First Aid introduces mental healthy challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5 step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and eating disorders.
